Currently, Professor at the Faculty of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University.

Robert Fahey

Born in Ireland; moved to the UK in 2000 to work as a media and technology specialist for both major media corporations and startups. Earned a bachelor’s degree from SOAS, University of London, then received a scholarship from MEXT to study at Waseda University’s Graduate School of Political Science, obtaining a master’s degree and a doctorate (2021). Served as a lecturer at the Waseda Institute for Advanced Study until March 2025. While working as a researcher, developed software for social media data analysis and large-scale online surveys. His work at VETA combines software development experience with knowledge of social science methodology.

Ken Kato
加藤 賢
He holds a BASc in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto, where he conducted research on political text analysis using natural language processing and large language models (LLMs). Building on this work, he founded and continues to operate KOKKAIDOC, an AI-powered platform that analyzes and visualizes the proceedings of the National Diet of Japan.
After graduating, he worked as a data scientist at the Digital Agency of Japan, contributing to the development of AI products for the public sector. He is currently at VETA, where he leads research and development of decision-support products that leverage survey data and value-estimation technologies.

B.A. in Economics, Waseda University; M.A. in Economics, Graduate School of Economics, Waseda University. During his studies, he specialized in game theory, with a research focus on voting systems and collective decision-making. After graduation, he worked at a research and advisory firm, where he was involved in market research and consulting in the fields of AI and data analytics. Currently at VETA, responsible for business development to drive the commercial application of VETA’s technologies.
